I first met Kathy through her amazing website, Fun 4 Gator Kids. LOVE this site! Seriously, if you are a parent and live in the area, you need to go check it out. She has so much information, it’s incredible. If we ever end up moving out of Gainesville, I think I’m going to have to ask Kathy to move with us so we’ll always have a website like this to refer to! Kathy’s family was so much fun and the kids were such great sports in this heat! They were so enthusiastic and we had fun exploring the fabulous Kanapaha Botanical Gardens together.

I am lovin’ the freckles!

Love this one.

Pretty as a flower.

Feeding the fish!

These are some cute kids!

I met this adorable family of 3 last week. It was my first visit to Branford, Florida, and I must say, it was such a cute town! Ellie is a photographer herself and knew of a great place for us to take photos at. They also have such a lovely home, we didn’t really need to venture far for great photos! Here’s your sneak peek, A family!

The S Family Sneak Peek

June 14, 2010

A few pictures from my recent session with this really great family. Watch out for more in a few days!

I swear she could be a model.

So it’s been a little while since I’ve posted anything! It’s been a crazy few weeks, but things have started to settle down and I’m getting back into the groove of editing and having tea parties with my daughter. A big part of the latest craziness was due to these two beautiful people. I just got back a little while ago from Costa Rica!! I was there to photograph Kristin and Courtney’s wedding and I had absolutely the best time. Costa Rica was gorgeous and Kristin and Courtney’s wedding was amazing! These are two of the most generous people, I can’t say enough good things about them. I had a great time meeting their friends and family, and left with so many memories. And as a “thank you” I would like to post just a few pictures from the big day. I am in the midst of editing and will be posting many more pictures, but I wanted to give Kristin and Courtney a few for now. Thanks again you two!

This one was taken at the rehearsal…

Fierce!

I love the way Courtney looks at Kristin. I swear, you can just feel how much he loves her.

Elise Kersey Photography was featured on Polka Dot Bride this past weekend! Miss Polka Dot featured Janyll and Maykel’s Florida State Fair engagement session. Polka Dot Bride is an Australian wedding blog dedicated to inspiring brides to make their wedding uniquely their own. There are so many inspiring photos and ideas. Be sure to check it out!

A few weeks ago, Melanie asked me if I would be interested in photographing a Drop In And Decorate party she was hosting. Basically, Drop In And Decorate is a nonprofit organization based in Rhode Island. Their mission is to inspire people to bake cookies, invite friends/family over to decorate them, and then donate the cookies to a local charity. Talk about combining two of my favorite things! Cookies and photography! What could be better?! We had so much fun chatting and decorating. Melanie boxed them up and delivered them to the Ronald McDonald House. We ended up decorating about 90 cookies! It was such a wonderful idea and such a fun way to help others.

We’re ready to decorate!

And boy did we decorate!Check out Drop In And Decorate’s site for information on hosting your own cookie party!

These two little guys are so adorable, I have to warn you, it’s picture overload here! I had such a wonderful time capturing these two. It was such a gorgeous day, the light was amazing, and these boys could not have been any cuter.

I Heart Faces: Flowers

I’m pretty fond of this little girl…especially when she’s being this sweet.

Join in the fun!

Well, it’s Mother’s Day! I hope all of the moms reading this are having a great day! This post is especially for one certain mom out there. A little sneak peek of her precious little boys. I hope you enjoy them, Celia! There are so many more adorable pictures to come.

Sometimes I have trouble choosing between color and b&w. This picture is so dramatic in b&w, but his eyes are just gorgeous, I love it in color as well!

Such sweethearts.

I was so excited to see this little guy again! I met Will and his mom a year ago to take his 2nd year pictures. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year, but I was so glad to see how wonderful Will and his mom were doing! He is such a cutie and I had so much fun taking pictures of him again. Can’t wait for next year!

Had to post a few with mom!
