Last week, Chick-Fil-A on Archer Road held their first annual Daddy Daughter Date Night. I was lucky enough to be able to photograph the event for them. It was a huge success! Not only did AP Limo provide limousine rides for the daddies and daughters, but the girls each got their own red carnation, photographs provided by myself, and an excellent dine-in service provided by Chick-Fil-A. The cows were even there for the evening (love them!). Seriously, next year, I’m signing up my husband to take my daughter and you should too!

The girls came in their finest dresses, ready for their date with daddy! I was also told several times that, “Mom did my hair!”

Seriously. So. Cute.

Thanks everyone for such a fun evening!

Need a special card and want something different? Something personal and not available at Target (where half of the things I buy come from!)? Why not have me make a custom card from your session (or wedding!) for you?

Since Gainesville itself is a commuter city, people always coming and going because of the university, I’ve had clients in the past request “We’re Moving!” cards. I’ve made these as special requests, but wanted to let everyone know they are available. I have several different designs that will fit any need.

Here’s an example:

-this is just a sample and not their actual address, so no one get any ideas! ;)We Moved! This is a 4.5×5.5 quality linen card. It comes in a set of 25, with envelopes. (Also available in size 5×7 at an additional cost.)

Or how about a more personal thank you card? Love these!

Aren’t these two beyond gorgeous? I was hoping it would rub off on me, ha!

Too FunnySharing A Moment

Just some pictures of my valentine. Gotta love her.

“Oh mom, I don’t want my picture taken today.”

“Oh wait…you’re kind of funny.”

“Mom’s hilarious!!”

Happy Girl.

Curious girl.
Mommy’s girl.

Love you, Lorelei.

That’s right! It’s not a typo- I just created my own word for lack of a better one! Hadley and Ryan tied the knot in a small ceremony in the mountains earlier this year, but still wanted some pictures taken to celebrate. Hence, the post-gagement session! I know, I could just call it a ‘married’ session, but that just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Hadley and Ryan are so sweet together. We had a lot of laughs getting these pictures and I think that shows. Congrats to you two! Enjoy your pictures!

Starting out with one of my favs…

I think Ryan is a pretty lucky guy! Hadley, you’re gorgeous!

Love these…

Love this one…

And just in case you were wondering if all my married talk was true, here’s the proof!  ;)

I got together with this very fun group last weekend to get some photos for their mom for Christmas. This group really was hilarious and I had such a good time running around UF campus capturing the madness! I hope we got some good ones for mom! More pictures to come!

Last weekend, James and I took Lorelei to the Tioga Town Fair. We had such an amazing time, I hope some of you made it out as well. Lorelei enjoyed the petting zoo, bounce house, gym bus, train ride, face painting, and other activities provided by the fair. It was all to benefit the Sebastian Ferrero Foundation. If you don’t know about the foundation, you should check out their website or facebook page.

It really was a ton of fun and it was great running into so many friendly faces!

Gotta love the bunnies at the petting zoo!

Ever get your pictures back and love them…but have no idea what to do with them? Storyboards are a great way to display your photos. They can be framed or propped up on a bookshelf. They can also be mounted on 3/4″ standouts, which come ready to hang on the wall without a frame.  Ask about standouts after your next session!

To balance out my last post, I thought I would put up a few photos of what makes summer so much fun. Here are a few recent pictures of my daughter riding her bike.

Gotta love a Care Bears bike!
