After getting some requests and answering many emails trying to respond to questions and help as much as I can, I have decided to start offering one-on-one mentoring. This is so exciting for me, I can’t wait!

I love the idea of working with people on an individual basis to help them achieve their goals in regards to photography. During the beginnings of my photography journey, I yearned for someone to teach me how to use my camera and would have loved someone to sit down with me and show me how to get the most out of my camera and my journey. When thinking about the possibility of teaching photography in some aspect, personal mentoring felt like the only option for me.

Everyone is at a different stage in their photography, and because of this, they need personalized attention and direction…at least I did! And that is what I am now offering to you.

I will be offering several different mentoring options…

Photography Mentoring Only    $300   ($200 per individual if booked with a friend.  $150 per individual for 3+ people)

-Shoot a mini session with me (model provided by me unless you would like to have images of your children)

-Learn to shoot in Manual

-How to shoot in different lighting scenarios

-Camera Settings and Custom Menus

-Finding the Right Lens

-Posing and Composition

-Creativity and special effects (lens flare, angles, etc.)

-Learn what has worked for me and what hasn’t, what books I recommend, my good investments and bad ones, and any other questions you may have

- An additional two weeks of mentoring via email to go over any questions you may have post-mentoring

This session lasts for 2 hours and can be as basic or advanced as you need it to be!

Photoshop Mentoring Only   $300 ($200 per individual if booked with a friend.  $150 per individual for 3+ people)

Once you learn how to take a great picture, learning how to edit becomes a pivotal step in learning how to create a unique and artistic image

-Learn about layers, layer masks, and blending modes

-Learn different ways to color correct and touch up an image

-Learn how I edit, watch my workflow

-Find your own style

- An additional two weeks of mentoring via email to go over any questions you may have post-mentoring

This session lasts for 2 hours and can be as basic or advanced as you need it to be!

I Want to Know it All! (Both Photography and Editing)    $600  ($400 per individual if booked with a friend.  $300 per individual for 3+)

This is for those who want to learn the full process, from start to finish. With this mentoring session:

-Everything mentioned above and more!

-Shoot a mini session with me (model provided by me unless you would like to have images of your children) and edit some of the images from the session with me.

-The ability to pick and choose or select all (whatever we can do before passing out) of the following in person activities: shooting, post processing, styling, posing, prop shopping, etc.

-Learn what has worked for me and what hasn’t, what books I recommend, my good investments and bad ones, and any other questions you may have

- An additional one month of mentoring via email to go over any questions you may have post-mentoring

This session lasts for 5-6 hours and can be as basic or advanced as you need it to be!

• This class is intended for beginner photographers or hobbyists, or those interested in starting a business outside of Gainesville, Florida. I am not offering it to those with an established business in the area.

• Because this is an in-person class, those interested must be located in or around Gainesville, Florida (or willing to travel).
